Welcome to the very furry side of Gaby B Designs. 🐾

I’m Gaby, the maker behind Gaby B Designs and the proud caretaker of a very special feline family. The Trapeze Cats are a huge part of my everyday life — supervising, keeping me company while I work, and occasionally trying to help with projects when they probably shouldn’t. 😸

How the Trapeze Cats Became a Family 🐾

The Trapeze Cats didn’t exactly arrive one by one — many of them were actually born right here!

What started as a group of about 17 cats quickly became a much bigger family. I had begun getting the boys neutered and had plans to spay the females as well, but after an unexpected complication with the process, their appointments had to be postponed.

Let’s just say… the cats had other plans. 😹

Within less than three months, our little group of 17 grew to more than 40 cats.

It certainly wasn’t something I planned, but once those babies arrived, they became part of the family. Since then, I’ve worked hard to make sure the entire colony is spayed and neutered and that they have food, shelter, supplies, medical attention when needed, and a safe place to call home.

Patches 🐾

Patches is our sweet girl with a very serious love of food. 😂 She will happily eat just about anything and everything she can get her paws on. If there’s food involved, Patches is there!

Oliver 🖤

Oliver literally showed up crying in the forest one day. We still joke that Spidy somehow stole him and left him there for us to find. 😂 We heard this tiny baby crying, went looking, and there he was — from the forest straight into the family.

Hope 🧡

Hope is my very special wobbly girl. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which makes her a little unsteady, but it has never stopped her from living her life. I was right there when she became a mama and helped her deliver six babies. Sadly, one little baby didn’t survive the labor. Hope has been through so much and is such a special part of our family. ❤️

Fluffy 🐾

Fluffy is one of the sweetest cats ever — and also one of the biggest scaredy-cats. 😂 He loves to quietly sneak into our bedroom like he’s not supposed to be there and then make himself comfortable sleeping with us. Once he feels safe, he is pure sweetness.

Medianoche 🖤

Medianoche is so affectionate when he’s inside. His favorite place to sleep is right between my legs, as close to me as possible. 🥹 Hope, however, is not exactly a fan. 😂 If Medianoche comes to sleep with me, Hope usually decides she’s out and moves somewhere else.

Patita 🤎

Patita is one of the very first cats who was here when we bought the house. She was only about three months old then — tiny, very skittish, and already completely unforgettable. ❤️ Patita is Hope’s mom, and when her water broke, I managed to grab her and bring her inside so she could have her babies in the house. She’s also the reason I started whistling to call the cats. I would call out, “Patiiitaaa!” with that little whistle, and somehow it became our family call. 🥹🐾

Every one of them has their own story, and somehow they all found their way to us. ❤️🐾
